Youth Sports Coordinator
Independent Contracted 1099 Position
The Youth Sports Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing youth sports programs and leagues within the Special Service District. This individual will oversee football, volleyball, basketball and soccer.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Plans, coordinates, and supervises youth sports leagues.
- Recruits coaches, officials and volunteers.
- Develops program schedules and league structures.
- Ensures participants have signed waivers to participate in rec. sports.
- Maintains and distributes equipment.
- Communicates effectively with parents, participants, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Manages program registrations, rosters, and records using district software systems.
- Coordinates facility scheduling and field/court maintenance needs.
- Addresses and resolves participant concerns.
- Promotes programs through marketing efforts, social media, and community outreach.
- Must be willing to obtain workers' comp or a waiver.

Altamont Park Facilities Coordinator

Position Summary
The Altamont Park Facilities Coordinator oversees the Altamont park rental and is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of public restrooms and the upkeep of garbage and waste collection areas throughout the Altamont Park. This position plays a key role in ensuring safe, clean, and welcoming public facilities for residents and visitors.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Helps individuals with reservations of the Altamont Park.
- Submits reimbursement for deposits.
- Cleans and sanitizes public restrooms, including toilets, sinks, floors, mirrors, and fixtures.
- Restocks restroom supplies such as toilet paper, paper towels, and soap.
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners at parks, facilities, and public areas.
- Collects and transports garbage to designated disposal areas.
- Monitor facilities for cleanliness, damage, and needed repairs; report issues promptly.
- Maintains cleaning equipment and supplies; notifies the board of inventory needs.
- Follows safety procedures and properly handles cleaning chemicals.
- Schedule may include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Must be willing to obtain workers' comp or a waiver.
